The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly happening.
